Mike received his Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business in 2002. After graduation, he began a career on Wall Street with First New York Capital Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and Trader. After completing his apprenticeship, he began managing a portfolio for the firm and has been managing equity portfolios ever since. ​

Mike had an eight-year career as a Senior Vice President and partner at Quad Capital before moving from New York to North County San Diego. He joined Christopher Weil & Company, Inc. in November of 2016 with a desire to remain in portfolio management but work more closely with clients and their families.

Mike lives in Carlsbad with his wife and two daughters and is very happy to call San Diego home.
