Now Hiring: Associate Wealth Advisor

Location: Carmel Valley, CA (In-Office)​

 
The Role: Advisor Strategic Partner & Project Manager

We are seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to serve as the critical bridge between our Lead Advisors and our internal operations teams. You are the "Project Manager" for the entire client experience—acting as the air traffic controller for all "to-dos" before, during, and after client meetings. This is a strategic partnership ensuring the high-touch execution of a client's holistic blueprint, which integrates tax strategy, estate planning, and risk management with investment management .

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting Preparation (The "Before"): Create comprehensive client meeting reports and agendas; gather all necessary data points to ensure the Lead Advisor is fully prepared before the client arrives.

  • Meeting Lifecycle & Follow-up (The "During" & "After"): Attend meetings to capture family dynamics and capture action items. Draft high-level follow-up memos and lead all communication and coordination with clients to ensure "to-dos" are completed.

  • Client Interaction & Execution: Act as the primary point of contact for execution-related needs, including calling clients for RMDs, coordinating money movements, and money transfers.

  • Advisor Workflow Governance: Directly manage the Advisor’s task lists and email flow to ensure that deadlines are met and no client promise slips through the cracks.

  • Planning Support: Analyze Wills, Trusts, tax returns, and insurance policies to identify opportunities or planning gaps.

 

Qualifications & Competencies
  • Intense Curiosity: You are genuinely interested in the "why" behind taxes, estate planning, and market trends.

  • Extreme Attention to Detail: You find satisfaction in an organized task list and error-free reports.

  • Structural Integrity: You are naturally wired to scan for patterns, disconnects, and long-term consequences.

  • Ownership & Adaptability: You own your mistakes, learn from them, and remain flexible when plans change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Growth Mindset: You are looking to grow your skillset and actively seek every opportunity to learn.

  • Technical: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in an RIA or Private Client Service environment; must be willing to obtain CFP®, Series 65, and CA Life License.

Total Compensation & Growth
  • Total Cash Potential ($70K–$90K): Comprised of a competitive base salary and a reliable bonus program tied to firm performance.
